Several years ago, the late Apostle Dr. Steve Lyston, along with Pastor Dr. Michelle Lyston, launched the website, called lystonvoice.com, as an avenue through which they could share, without compromise, all that the Lord God laid on their hearts, or gave them to share with everyone and anyone who was willing to listen. It was also the avenue through which they both could encourage and empower the Church as a Body, reach and edify secular society – Governments, Business Leaders, and individuals and facilitate the release of the Prophetic Word of the Lord without hesitation. The goal simply to reach as many as possible, and facilitate their spiritual growth and development in Jesus Christ using application of Biblical Principles and faith to fulfill their purpose. Together, they worked as a team to share the articles, books, original music, teachings, and broadcasts done on both radio and television.
Today, LystonVoice continues as Voice Of Faith (VOF), sharing timely articles, VOF-vlogs and the Voice Of Faith Podcast, which discusses the Word of God for application to daily life – to edify and Biblically empower readers and listeners, so that each person can boldly walk in their calling and fulfill their God-given purpose.
Apostle Dr. Steve Lyston
The late Apostle Dr. Steve Lyston was the Apostle of Restoration World Outreach Ministries Incorporated and Restoration Outreach Ministries International. He, along with Pastor Dr. Michelle Lyston and Bishop Dr. Doris Hutchinson are the Visionaries and they worked as a team to do God’s work.
Apostle Dr. Steve Lyston was also an author, a mentor, a Biblical Economics Consultant, University President and a man of integrity and the gift of faith. Oftentimes, when others around him did not see how things could get done, and saw hopelessness, he was able to speak a timely and accurate word of knowledge, word of wisdom and had more faith for them than they had for themselves. Many had their hope restored as he ministered to them everywhere he went. He touched lives in nations his feet did not touch.
He was a man of vision, and saw things in such an uncommon way and what seemed strange, challenging and impossible to others to accomplish, seemed like child’s play to him because He believed that the Almighty Creator he served was more than able to do what needed to be done; and so he pursued and built without reservation – never looking down on anyone as less than others nor himself, and was always willing to extend grace to others – even an opportunity for a second, third, up to a seventh chance for the individual to correct mistakes and make things right.
He was a father to those without their father; he was an Apostle to many Apostles; and a true friend and confidant where needed. He was to counsel or always willing and at the ready to counsel or answer the questions others had about the Word of God, or anything they didn’t understand in life or the Scriptures. His patience was amazing and his compassion for the poor was tremendous. However, he never allowed pride nor arrogance to enter, and always looked to the Lord completely to be His help. If the Lord told him something, he held on to that as truth, and never hesitated to execute the instructions of the Lord, regardless of the opinions of others about it. He was bold but never rude; determined to succeed in God, but never at the expense of others. He was often misunderstood, but never complained about it. He believed that “… it is not about a mighty man, but it’s about a mighty Church.”
Apostle Dr. Steve Lyston was a member of the armed forces for over 20 years and received several medals for marksmanship. He was also a senior manager in the private sector for over 20 years and received several awards for being the Best Manager within the entire Group of Companies in which he worked. Furthermore, he had a wealth of knowledge in logistics, strategic management, Trade Unions, and later, in Biblical Economics. He wrote on that topic in one of his books. He excelled in the Performing Arts for several years and never failed to share Christ with all his former thespians.
The late Apostle Dr. Steve Lyston had a passion for helping people identify their purpose and calling and was filled with compassion for those who were disadvantaged. He loved to help the poor, the youth, and children were dear to his heart. As a result, he led missions to countries (whether he spoke the language or not) in the continents of Africa, South America, North America, and did work in Southern Asia. He was most excited about imparting whatever he received from the Lord as soon as he received it, he didn’t hide it nor prostitute it – whether it was a prophetic word from the Lord, or Divine revelations from the Lord through dreams, visions or from the written Word of the God.
Apostle Dr. Steve Lyston went home to the Lord on December 2, 2023, leaving his widow, Pastor Dr. Michelle Lyston, and 3 children to carry on where he left off.

Pastor Michelle Lyston is Senior Pastor of Restoration World Outreach Ministries Incorporated (RWOMI) in the United States of America and a senior leader in Restoration Outreach Ministries International (ROMI) Jamaica having worked in that ministry since its inception.
She is called to the Five-fold Ministry as a Teacher and a Prophetess and has worked with her late husband Apostle Dr. Steve Lyston for over 20 years and has continued the relentlessly work in Ministry. She is an ordained Pastor both in Jamaica and the United States through Restoration Outreach Ministries International (Jamaica) and Living Faith World Ministries (USA) and is committed to helping people understand the Word of God for Spiritual Growth and daily Life Applications! She has ministered in churches across Florida, New Jersey, New York, and Kansas. Souls have been healed, restored and strengthened in the Caribbean, the United States, Canada and England.
Pastor Michelle has a degree in Marketing and Management, and is also well trained in the area of Administration, particularly Church Administration having been in Church Administration for over nineteen (19) years. She has worked in the Public and Private Sectors of her native country – Jamaica -and, through the grace of God, has a wealth of experience in secular Administration, Customer Service, Technology and Communications, Marketing, Finance and Management Information Systems. She heads the entire Administrative Team both locally and overseas. She has helped her husband in the preparation and publication of all his books, numerous manuals, and flyers and has created the Newsletters for RWOMI, ROMI and other organizations both past and present. She is currently a member of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce in Florida. She co-hosted a dynamic and gripping program with her husband on Radio WAVS 1170 for three (3) years called “Before Dawn”. Pastor Michelle also has the gift of song and has written several songs, including ‘Today’ – a song she wrote and released on the occasion of her wedding. She states that her greatest joy is Praise and Worship and she loves to worship the Lord in song and dance.
Pastor Michelle states that she is called “… to the Body of Christ rather than to a denomination …” and her God-given vision is to help the Body of Christ and the peoples of the nations understand how the Word of God can be applied to their lives so that they can receive the fullness of what God has for them. She is driven by the Word, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” as in Hosea 4: 6. Her determination is to ensure that the people of God understand who they are in Christ and to let them know how important it is not to accept mediocrity in any form.
Though she grew up in the Methodist Church, and comes from a family of Lay Persons, Preachers, Teachers and Singers, she answered the call to ministry while working as a manager within one of the largest group of companies in that country. She states that her parents, who continue to serve in the Methodist Church and who are also retired Educators “… were the first ones to teach [her] the value and importance of being faithful in the House of the Lord, loyalty and commitment to God and Family, Education, walking in Integrity and striving for excellence …” Since her answer to the call of Ministry, she has since been trained in several other areas of Ministry.
